How to create a seller account on Amazon
Once you’ve figured out what you plan on selling on Amazon, you’ll need to go through the Amazon seller registration process, which is really quite simple.
1. Go to https://services.amazon.com
2. Click on "More information"
Then go to the “Pricing” tab and click “Compare Commerciality Plans”. this can lead you to a comparison page where you can imagine the differences between a private and knowledgeable trafficker account.
Note: If you click the orange "Sign Up" button, you will be immediately redirected to the Knowledge Trader registration page. The "View Pricing" link on the other side shows you the difference between individual and qualified accounts and allows you to settle on the registration you desire.
3. choose from a private account or an experienced trafficker's account
When it comes to Amazon's plans for traffickers, you have 2 options: qualified and individual.
If you are going to sell more than forty products per month, then "professional" language communication is the best option. even if you do commercialism as a hobby and don't think of yourself as knowledgeable, this setup can help you save.
But if you will sell on a smaller scale (ie less than forty units per month), choose individual settings.
However, keep in mind that if you choose custom settings, your product will not be eligible for the buy box and you will not have the flexibility to advertise your product on Amazon.
4. Enter your email and choose "Create an alternate account"
Once you've selected the vendor setup that's right for you, the following window may appear where you'll be asked to enter an email address and password (of your choice) for your Ad Configurator account.
When you're done, click the "Next" button.
This will take you to a second screen telling you that you want to approve the notification sent to the email address you entered on the previous screen. this may be Amazon's way of justifying the email you entered.
Check out the Associate in Nursing email from Amazon and make sure you approve the notification via the link they provide. Once you approve it, you will be automatically redirected to the current screen:
5. choose "Place of business" and "Type of business"
The next step in the Amazon trafficker registration method is to share the following information:
Your business location: This can be the country in which your business is located. It is very important that this is correct as Amazon confirms this (see step 10).
Your Business Type: You will be able to choose from the following options for your business entity (mostly in the 'Privately Owned' category):
State enterprise
Publicly owned business
Privately owned business
Charity
None, I'm a privateer
However, if you don't have a business set up simply choose "None, I'm private". By selecting this option, Amazon can run your full name in the next step.
Your full name: make sure you enter your first, middle and last name.
Then click the "I agree and continue" button.
6. Enter your personal information
From there you will be asked to create an Amazon with various private details. This includes some form of identification (either a type of passport or driver's license).
Make sure the address entered is correct, as Amazon may send you a postcard with a verification variety that you should enter before using your account.
You will even have to give up your signaling. Again, this may be for authentication functions.
Once you've entered everything, click "Next" at the bottom of the screen.
7. Enter your request information
Your next step is to create an Amazon along with your request information. This includes different kinds of sound control accounts and different kinds of sound cards.
Click "I perceive" before proceeding.
On the next page, you will be prompted to verify your checking account.
After validating your bank details, you will need to enter your mastercard details.
8. Add data for your product(s) and Amazon store
After you offer your mastercard information and it is valid, you will be asked a series of questions about your Amazon store and therefore the product you propose to sell.
To proceed to the next part of the Amazon trafficker registration method, you must answer the following:
The name of your Amazon store
Whether or not you have UPC codes for your products
If you have any diversity certificates
If you are the manufacturer and/or the full owner of the product(s), you are a business
If you click "Yes" or "Some of these," you'll be asked: Do you own a government-registered trademark for a branded product you want to sell on Amazon?
After entering the answers to these questions, click the "Next" button.
9. biometric identification
You will also be asked to verify your identity by uploading images of your ID (license or passport) and financial statement.
After the documents are transferred, click Send.
Finally, once you've completed all the reverse steps within the verification method, you'll be asked to provide proof of the address you provided earlier.
After clicking the 'Confirm' button, an exchange screen may appear (if the displayed address is correct). It explains that you can receive a postcard with a verification code at this address.
After you receive the carton, enter the given code in the "Enter code below" field and click "Next" to complete the verification method.
Once verified, you're in!
To get the safe aspect, we tend to suggest that your account be equipped with two-step verification for extra security. However, once your identity and business information is verified, all you would want to try to get started is to log in to https://sellercentral.amazon.com.
And this is what your trafficker account home screen might look like (without sales, of course).
*NOTE: The Amazon trafficker registration method has recently been modified to help verify recent seller information.
For this reason, many of the screens and requirements you will see and/or have to fulfill during account creation may not agree with those published above
